STP aka the Stone Temple Pilots are an American rock band consisting of lead vocalist Scott Weiland, bass guitarist/vocalist Robert DeLeo, his brother Dean DeLeo whom also plays the guitar and drummer/percussionist Eric Kretz. The band has been together since 1986 but first found success with the release of their debut album Core, which was released in 1992 and is certified 8x platinum. The band separated in 2003 but reunited 5 years later with a successful 71-date tour. They've released a total of six albums to date, with their latest self-titled album released earlier this year.
