Formed in 1968 in Toronto, Canada, the band Rush has become known for the instrumental skills of it's members, as well as complex compositions and lyrics based on science fiction, fantasy & philosophy. Rush's musical style has changed over the years but they have retained a dedicated fan-base and influenced bands such as Metallica, Primus, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater & Symphony X. Rush will be performing at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand in just TWO days!! That's right- Friday evening (Aug. 27th) at 7:30 pm, Rush will give audience members the rush of their lifetimes and YOU could be one of them!!! Ticket King still has Rush tickets left ranging in price from $145-155 for reserved seating. But we only have a few and this show has proven to be a very popular one so I would recommend grabbing them now if you want to go!!
