Taj Mahal is the stage name for Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, an internationally recognized blues musician with two Grammy Awards to date. He is a self-taught singer-songwriter and film composer that plays the guitar, banjo and harmonica. He's reshaped the definition and scope of blues music over the course of his almost 50 year career by fusing it with nontraditional sounds from the Caribbean, Africa & the South Pacific. Since his debut in 1964, Taj Mahal has released a total of 25 studio albums and eight live albums.
