Stand-up comedian Louie Anderson is mostly known for the cartoon series he created titled Life With Louie in 1995.  The series was based on Louie's childhood with 10 siblings, a sweet-hearted mother and a loud, war-crazed father.  It also detailed how he was picked on for his weight and how he used comedy to deal with the teasing. If you live near the Twin Cities or you'll be in town this weekend, you're probably wondering what's going on around here. If you're looking for Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears tickets for the game this Monday, December 20th at 7:30, I've got good news for you.  My boss just informed me that we have started re-selling tickets for the game, with upper levels at $75 and lowers at $150.  However, you must understand that there IS still a possibility that you would be turned away at the gate if they do reach capacity before you arrive.  As you may know, TCF Bank Stadium does not hold as many people as the Metrodome did and unfortunately the Vikings sold more tickets than there are seats.  From what we've been seeing lately, a lot of our customers are opting out of going to the game and instead choosing to receive an in-store credit with us.  That means they're basically giving up their seats so the die-hard fans can still gather together to watch the game.  Just remember, we're in Minnesota and this is an evening game in the middle of December.  So it WILL be very cold.  Please dress for it!  If you're interested in tickets, give us a call right now at 612-341-4131.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears Ticket Policy and Game Logistics

The Minnesota Vikings have FINALLY announced the ticket policy and game logistics for the upcoming Monday night Vikings-Bears game at TCF Bank Stadium and here it is:

All ticket holders will use their Vikings-Bears game tickets for Mall of America Field at the Metrodome to enter TCF Bank Stadium and seating will be general admission by lower and upper levels.

Mall of America Field at the Metrodome Lower-Level Ticket Holders (100 level): Ticket holders with lower-level tickets (100 level) will get lower-level seating access at TCF Bank Stadium (general admission) - UNTIL SEATING IS AT CAPACITY. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for those 100 level ticket holders with line queues starting at 4:00 p.m. The value of all lower-level tickets will be considered to be $77. If the face value of the original 100-level season ticket is greater than $77, a credit for the difference will be applied to the Season Ticket Owner's account toward 2011 season tickets. For single-game purchasers, a credit will be applied via Ticketmaster.

Mall of America Field at the Metrodome Upper-Level Ticket Holders (200 level): Ticket holders with upper-level tickets (200 level) will only have upper level seating access at TCF Bank Stadium (general admission). Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for those 200 level ticket holders. The value of all upper-level tickets will be considered to be $29. If the face value of the original 200-level season ticket is greater than $29, a credit for the difference will be applied to the Season Ticket Owner's account toward 2011 season tickets. For single-game purchasers, a credit will be applied via Ticketmaster.

Unused Season Tickets for Mall of America Field at the Metrodome: Season Ticket Owners that do not use their tickets will receive full credit on their account if the ticket goes unused AND is mailed to the Vikings Ticket Office (425 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55415) POST-MARKED by Saturday, December 18.

IMPORTANT: This is a first-come, first-served event. The Vikings anticipate this game to be well-attended and having a valid ticket does not guarantee admittance into TCF Bank Stadium. In the event that some ticket holders are turned away on game night due to capacity, only the original ticket account owners will receive a full refund.

Game LogisticsThe Vikings and the University of Minnesota have agreed no alcoholic beverages will be served. No outside food or beverages will be allowed into the stadium. Game parking details will be announced in the coming days.

William Royce 'Boz' Scaggs is a singer-songwriter and guitarist that gained fame in the 1970s.  Boz learned the guitar at age 12 and met Steve Miller at St. Marks, the private school he attended in Dallas.  St. Marks is also where he was given the nickname 'Bosley' by a schoolmate, which was later shortened to 'Boz'.  In 1959, Boz became the vocalist for Steve Miller's band, The Marksmen.  After touring and singing with several bands, Boz traveled to Sweden as a solo performer and recorded his solo debut album, Boz, in 1965. As you are probably already aware, the December 20th Vikings vs. Bears game originally scheduled to take place at the Metrodome has been moved to TCF Bank Stadium due to damages sustained to the Dome during the snowstorm. At this time we do not have any details regarding how tickets will be transferred to the new venue. Target Center Ozzy Osbourne Concert POSTPONED

Unfortunately I just got news that Ozzy Osbourne has POSTPONED his Minneapolis concert that was suppose to take place this Sunday evening at the Target Center.  Ozzy is taking the advice of his doctors after getting an ear infection and now he's unable to perform.  But don't worry, he'll be back!  Ozzy rescheduled the show for Wednesday, January 12th, so he'll be back in just a few weeks.  Ozzy is known for being a notoriously self-destructive rock star, although he's been sober for several years.  Scientists are even having his genome sequenced, in hopes that they can figure out how he's still alive.  Ozzy was heavily into drugs and drinking for over 40 years, he's broke his neck before and has died TWICE in a chemically induced coma, among other things.  But he's still here today and although he's got an ear infection now, he WILL be back in Minneapolis in a few weeks so hold tight.  The Prince of *bleeping* Darkness will return!

First Avenue The Hold Steady Tickets
