Formed in 1968 in Toronto, Canada, the band Rush has become known for the instrumental skills of it's members, as well as complex compositions and lyrics based on science fiction, fantasy & philosophy. Rush's musical style has changed over the years but they have retained a dedicated fan-base and influenced bands such as Metallica, Primus, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater & Symphony X.
