Metrodome or New Vikings Stadium?

The future of the Metrodome is still up in the air and most people don’t think the Viking stadium issues will be settled quickly. I personally hope the Vikings can reach some sort of agreement with the state of Minnesota to replace the Metrodome with a new stadium on the Metrodome site. Our Ticket King Minneapolis office is right by the Metrodome now and we like it here. A new stadium would rock in this area and would insure that Ticket King would be able to serve Vikings customers with ease for many years to come. Vikings Giants Tickets Selling Fast

The Minnesota Vikings only have one regular season home game left . . .against the New York Giants! I can tell you this; Vikings Giants Tickets are selling fast! I am not sure if it is because so many people gave Minnesota Vikings tickets as holiday gifts or if fans are just excited to see the regular season finale in person, but either way the Ticket King Vikings Giants inventory is pretty low. Vikings Victory Against Kansas City

Last Friday evening was the Minnesota Vikings first home preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. I was lucky enough to attend the game which also happened to be my very first Vikings game ever! I decided to go last minute and am so glad I did! I got a pair of very reasonably cheap Vikings tickets from Ticket King that were in a great location! The picture above was taken from our seats. They were priced way below face value too. Unfortunately we got there after Brett Favre had already played but it turned out to be a really close game and it was a lot of fun! Thanks again Ticket King!!!

Favre Coming to Twin Cities!

It's official! - Brett Favre IS joining the Minnesota Vikings after all! I hate to say it, but I KNEW this was going to happen! I could sense his indecisiveness as soon as he came back from retirement. Oh well, I do know that this will be great for our Minnesota Vikings ticket sales and will keep us VERY busy this football season. Today has already been a crazy day and it's not even lunch time yet! Our phones are ringing constantly and we've all been running around like chickens with our heads cut off. But it's actually pretty exciting! The news station just arrived and are setting up to tape us for the evening news tonight! I am a little surprised but definitely grateful that Brett decided to grace us with his presence this Vikings season! Now c'mon Brett, make us proud!!!

Vikings vs. Philly - BLACKOUT?

The Vikes have until 3:30 pm today to sell the remaining seats to their first playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles- But can they do it!? The phones haven't been ringing off the hook like they should be here at TicketKing, and it's got us wondering why. You would think fans would be going nuts... but they're not. The deadline has already been extended because they've made significant progress in ticket sales, so let's hope this progress is enough to air the game on TV.

Our exposure on the channel 4 news yesterday evening didn't seem to help as much as it should have. We've definitely had a lot of calls on Vikings tickets but it seems everyone is waiting until last minute or they just aren't willing to pay the money for the playoff tickets. Prices are definitely reasonable and competitive, so we just don't get it. We're crossing our fingers though and hoping we will see our Vikes in the Superbowl. Hey, it's possible right?!

Now that the Vikings are #1 in our division, I'm actually pretty excited to see how they do the rest of the season! After the last few games, it seems like they have improved their defense and even stepped up their game in offense. I've also noticed another slight spike in Vikings ticket sales! Oh and one of my friends that I used to work with, that LOVES them, just got a tattoo of a Viking on her foot. I'll try to post the pic if I can...
