The Tampa Bay Lightning are members of the Southern Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL and were founded in 1992. The team is commonly referred to as the Bolts and the nickname is currently used on their jerseys. They've won one Stanley Cup championship in their history, which was in 2004. In the 2008 NHL Draft, the Lightning selected #1 overall pick Steven Stamkos.
