Bassnectar at the Varsity Theater!

Heyyyy Bassnectar fans!! The amazingly talented Bassnectar will be coming to the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis on Thursday, April 1st at 9pm!! If you haven't heard of Bassnectar, it is a free-form electronic music and social experimentation project created by Lorin Ashton (but also accompanied by various collaborations) from San Francisco, California. He combines beats and baselines with music of any or all speeds, time signatures, rhythms and sound source. The result is a mixture of different styles including glitch, punk rock, blues, reggae, polka, salsa, beatboxing, rap, gypsy music, ska, death metal and dub- something for EVERYONE. I saw him live at a music festival last year and he just blew me away. You won't even believe some of the sounds you hear! I would highly suggest attending the show when the tickets go on sale (January 15th) if you're even the slightest fan of electronic music.
